1955-57 Chevy Passenger Car/Wagon 1 5/8" Mid-Length Chevy Small Block 265/283 Engine Swap Header with Metallic Ceramic Coating
Highlights
Mid-Length Headers, often called Clippsters, are engineered to provide superior performance gains over Manifold Replacements or Block Hugger style headers. These headers enhance your vehicle’s horsepower and torque while preserving ground clearance for cars with a lowered stance and trucks where long tube headers may hang to low.
- 3/8” thick machined flanges to prevent warping
- CNC mandrel bent tubes for an accurate fit and improved flow
- Durable 16 gauge tubing
- 1 5/8" Primary Tubing Diameter
- 2.5" Collector Port Diameter
- Oval Port Shape
- Metallic Ceramic Coating
Our Metallic Ceramic Coating protects and extends the life of headers by creating a thermal barrier which significantly lowers under hood temperatures and protects the substrate metal from thermal fatigue. After the Metallic Ceramic Coating is applied, it is polished with a vibratory finishing process that produces a high luster aluminum appearance. The polishing process compresses and activates the coating, creating a surface which is harder and 60% more corrosion resistant than an unpolished surface.
